The yearly migration route of the Dareshuri Tribe stretches from their northern neighbor, the Bakhtiari tribe, from the springs of Borujen and Semirom down southward to the salt and gypsum dunes of Behbehan and Dogonbadan. [5]
The residence of the Dareshuri chiefs has historically been Mehrgerd in Semirom (in their summer quarters) and Tange Chogan in the Kazerun region of Fars (in their winter quarters). For this reason the largest number of Dareshuri horses can be found in the cities of Shiraz, Semirom, and other cities and rural areas in the migration paths of the Dareshuri tribe. [6]
The Qashqai regions can be seen in the image above in red, in the southwestern area of the country.
