DEDICATED IRON BRANDING

The “Daghe Do” (or Brand Two) brand iron which was used to show livestock ownership for the Dareshuri tribal leader up to the time of Ayaz Kaikha (father of Ziad Khan Setorg Dareshuri), was used from then on by Ziad Khan Setorg Dareshuri (son of Ayaz Kaikha, and successor to him as the Khan or Chief of the Dareshuri) as a symbol or mark to show quality of the chief’s pure blood Dareshuri horses. This very fact led to the popularity and differentiation of the “Daghe Do Horses of Ziad Khan”.

Amir Amanollah Khan Setorg Dareshuri (son of Ziad Khan) at the age of 90 years reviews and observes foals of the Daghe Do horses and as his father once did, brands the pure blood foals that pass his standards with the Daghe Do (Brand Two) Brand Iron of Ziad Khan.
